Raritan Bay TROLLING OCT 7

out of Keyport at daylight,light chop,set out trolling rods with stretch 25.water still not as clear as it should be.Rod goes off,hardest fight i ever had  5hrug turned out to be a 16 lb MONSTER BLUE,NO stripers,the blues took over the BAY.Worn out for the day so we headed for the slip to have lunch and  chrz clean up the boat.A GREAT DAY ON THE BAY.YuuuuuuP

nice report. i'm fishing same area from shore past few weeks, yet to see a striper, blues once in a while though.

That's one hell of a Bluefish. Haven't seen one that size in awhile. Great fighting fish pound for pound than most anything out there. Dad must of had his hands full.........ha ha ha ha.
