Hello all
Like everyone else after Fluke season closed we had a lot of tough weather n not much to fish for.
While waiting for the stripers to arrive n seabass to open we had some good porgy trips but it was only a quick shot before the storms pushed them off.
However the big news was the incredible blackfish bite we had inshore. Although the limit was only 1 Fish. If the thrill of Catching blackfish with the chance of a big one in a t shirt was your thing you were in heaven.
Many of the trips produced fish lots of big blackfish up to 12 lbs and 75-150 keeper size fish!
i know we post lots of deck shots over the years but For the guys who werent worried about filling the box or meat alot were rewared with a great days fishing and some personal best blackfish.
Here are some of the pics from the preseason blackfish. Bunch of pb's and fish in the 8-12 lb range!
So despite the limits... sometimes nice to just get out fishing.
