The great striper fishing continues!
11/12 - Had Mark n the boys joined with Bob Bates out for their crack at the Stripers.
Left early again to get back on the awesome morning bite...got to the grounds before all the heavy traffic they were right there waiting. Birds all over n fish splashing on top. Had 2-3 on at time right away and boxed up a limit before 8am in just a couple drifts!!! Went to a pick of a few a drift n we boxed up the bonus fish...then we got another crazy crack at em with everyone hooked up.
Bite finally slowed up n it the SSW wind came on hard making the ocean angry. Instead of heading in we just slow trolled a few mies heading towards home with the rods going off every few min the whole way with bass n blues. Even some double bangers on the rigs. Was an nice way to end an already great day.
Around 50 stripers total and a bunch of blues. Avas still the ticket!
7 day in a row with early limits+ alot of c&r. It truly has been a perfect week with incredible fishing!
