Mon 11/28 - Blackfish limit +
Had Anchor Joe and Crew for their crack at the blackfish.
Got setup and had a shot of keepers n a bunch of shorts. Picked at few more keeps but the bite got scratchy. Made a bunch of shifts and picked a couple each time but couldn't get a steady chew going.
Bite died so we made a move... got setup and it was more of the same...few right away and then just a slow scratchy pick. Thought it was gonna b one of those days...
Was almost time to head in when like a light switch the started to chew. Had some nice keeps coming up and we weren't gonna leave them biting.
So in true Monger fashion we stayed late and put in the Marathon day. They didnt come easy but the guys fished hard and we rewarded with a boat limit of Blackfish. 48 keepers today with everyone taking home a legal limit.
As always Joe n crew were a blast! loads of laughs, ate well and had a nice day of fishing!
