Bait Run / BLues Blitz
« on: August 14, 2007, 12:04:53 AM »
I grab my nephew and friend Mike to go for a Bait.. means some toothy coming up this week!!

We first load the live well with peanuts.. AH is load with nice Peanuts,, 3-6" nuts... Using them in the chum and Mahi??

Then netting some adult bunker...Sucks I ripped my cast net a few weeks ago .. not the same!! But still managed about 30 bunker.. Then the fun begins!!

Head over to GK for better bunker schools and found a blue blitz that was incredible!! Nice 6-10lb blues smashing acres of peanuts.. There were some weakies mix in!! But the blues were awesome on light tackle!!

We spent the evening there and took 8 blues for bait around 8lbs each..

Its a great nite when a 11yr old is throwing storm shads over and ever cast is hooked up. We had some chopper in the 12-15lbs range come racing, but on 10lb test .. don't take long to snap off!!

Hats Off to my nephew Justin for high Hook of 6 blues, and Mike for workin  his A$$ off to keep new rigs on all the time!!

Lets see what happen in The am!!!

Sorry no pics but got video coming of the camera of the blitz!!
