Sunday report 12/11
« on: December 12, 2011, 06:16:47 PM »
Left the marina on an icy deck and rounded the hook by 6:45 AM. headed out looking for birds and found them.

Jigged 2 keepers and alot of shorts and then headed to tog land. Boats on all my waypoints so had to move around. Moved 4 times before I found fish. Slow pick of small fish all day, 7 keepers no bigger than 16"s. Headed back to try to fillet in daylight and ran into more birds on flat glassy seas and could see the bass rolling on top and even jumping out. Threw some metal with little luck so switched to plugs and that was the ticket. Small poppers and small danny swimmers was the ticket. Sun went down and the FF lit up so we switched to ava's and had 30 minutes of more good action. Lots of small fish and some blues and 2 more keepers around 33". Had to fillet in the dark and fight of hungry gulls ,one of them got lucky and grabed a striper fillet,LOL. Lots of fish out there. Going to try to stay in the water as long as possible.

 t^Nice job
A good day of fishing is better than a bad day of fishing. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work. That means work sucks!
