Bingo Sunday Tog Report
« on: December 19, 2011, 07:36:56 AM »
As always Capt Jack and John put us in some great fishing.  There were only 8 or 9 fares and it was cold and windy…… We made ice on they way out and the ice didn’t melt if it was in the shade.  My fingers are still sore but the fish chewed from start to finish on Sunday. There where a lot of shorts mixed in but if you could feel your finger you could put together your limit. Pool fish was about six pounds (not me.).  They wanted green crabs.  Didn’t even try the whiteleggers.  Started out the 8 oz by the end of the need 12 oz as the tide started ripping.

It was a bad day to be a green crab today! The fish were very hungry and greens were the choice bait over the whites. The boat caught its limit of Tog and most were playing catch and release early into the trip. My mate John estimated there were well over 100 keepers landed onboard. Roger Farr won the pool the pool with a 6lb tog.
