Fishing the back end of Raritan Bay Saturday. Winds don't look to be a major concern.

Latest NOAA forecast for Raritan Bay;

SAT
NW WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WAVES 1 TO 2 FT IN THE MORNING...THEN
1 FT OR LESS.

SAT NIGHT
NW WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WAVES 1 FT OR LESS.

Actually forecast for the ocean from the tip of Sandy Hook south to Manasquan Inlet out to 20 NM doesn't look bad either;

SAT
NW WINDS 10 TO 15 KT. SEAS 3 TO 4 FT.

SAT NIGHT
N WINDS AROUND 10 KT. SEAS 2 TO 3 FT.

With the winds out of the NW the seas shouldn't be too bad tight to the beach or even out a few miles.

If my plans change & I don't get out Saturday-I might just fish the Pt. Pleasant side of Manasquan Inlet Sunday.

I might try the Mantaloking Bridge Pier at the north end of the Bay.
