Had the crew out on Sunday to do some Sandy Hook black fishing. We started with a slow pick but the action heated up when we moved to the south end of the reef. We ended up the morning with a total of 19 keepers up to 7 pounds. We will continue to fish for black fish, cod, and ling as long as the weather let's us get out which looks pretty good for the rest of the year.
I attached a picture of our 12/11 trip in which we had 12 keeper tog and a decent cod.
We are going to sail Friday and Monday weather permitting.
Merry Christmas and hope to see you soon.
