No lack of life this morning with Gannets, Bait and some very good readings. Bite didn't happen till late in the day at the change of tide and it was short lived.
Got a couple good drifts with some keepers, a bunch of shorts and an 18 pound Cod Fish!
With the way the Bass have been feeding the past 17 days, it's no wonder they have taken a break.
Like I always say, When the bait is gone, so are the fish. The bait is still here so hopefully the next two days will have us going out with a bang!
If I wasn't seeing the bait and reading the fish, I would have tied the boat up today for sure, but tomorrow is another day and I am an optimist!!!
Fishing Friday and Saturday, regardless of what happens, then our Swan song till the Spring.
