Thanks capt. I fish with my nephew
Luna Sea out of the highlands often, and he post's open boat trips in the member's forums. Have fished with many member's this way.
You will find a few boat jumpers there, also helps keep the cost's down.

Capt Carl, welcome to the site. Any questions you have, ask away. Anything you can add, please do so.

As far as the Fluk-a-thon.  It is a friendly non-formal tournament among friends here. No Capt meeting, no shotgun start, etc. Just a bunch of guys who like to fluke fish. You sign up and pay a minimal entry fee, fish where you want, take a pic of your catch, weigh it in at a local B&T approved by our 'committee' and submit your weights. Highest weight from X amount of fish wins. All the money collected for entry fees goes back out.  It would be great if you can join in. t^

ok luna....will the dates be posted on this site in the tournament section once you have the date confirmed??

You will know about the fluke-a-thon WAY.. in advance.  in fact, when the date is set, most of the posts will be towards that event.  It is a great time to meet new friends with a slight bit of competition.  We all port from different areas, but usually the people in the same area will make a point to meet on the water or at the dock.  Stick around for a great time.  You won't be dissapointed.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.
