get ready for a blizzard thanks to me
« on: March 07, 2012, 10:10:54 AM »
My spreaders came in and in order to install them I'll have to take down the shrinkwrap.  So of course given karma I'm fully expecting a blizzard to come through over the next week.  Just warning you all now  thud

Well if the snowstorm is proportional to my shrinkwrap removal, maybe I'll just take it off to just at the spreaders so we only get 2 feet instead of 4 haha.

Funny, we never had bad enough weather to justify the shrink wrap this winter.  I'm keeping mine on till Monday.

Mike and I were laughing about that.  $400 down the drain, but if I didn't I'm sure my boat would be under 5 feet of snow right now.

My boat came with a canvas winter cover and a bunch of precut and labeled 2 x 4's.  I used it the first year and was very disappointed. Shrink wrap is great and we know a guy  who is very reasonable

i made up a 2x4 ridge that runs down the length of the boat, with legs holding it just over the windshield.

2x4's plus a big ass tarp probably ran 40 bucks or so, been using it for 6 years now.
