NJ Beach Access Commitee to meet with NJDEP
« on: March 27, 2012, 03:24:20 PM »
Once again, I and other members of the NJ Beach Access Commitee will be meeting with the NJDEP for a meeting prior to the public meetings scheduled for next month. If anyone knows or has any beach access issues they would like addressed during this private meeting please post them here on this thread. We need YOUR HELP to keep the Tidal Waters of New Jersey open to all of us. Thanks and Tight Lines!

Joe, as I am sure you are well aware of, parking in some areas is as big an issue as the actual access to the beach. If you can not park your car all the access to the beach itself is meaningless.

Thanks for representing.  slt

Exactly Joe, this has been a BIG issue that we are fighting for, amongst others, especially in Point Pleasant and now in Brick Beach. Wildwood has just implemented (2012) a 24/7 beach access permit in order to park and fish their beaches...Sea Isle is another giving us "problems" with parking. Thanks for the input and concern.....any others? Let me know.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
