Throttle Shifter Question

Hi Guys, I have a Honda 225 2005 outboard The Throttle Shift moving from neutral to forward or neutral to revearse is very hard.Never made or had any adjustments in the past.I have checked and greased all cables and they move freely.
WHAT and WHERE else should I be checking out to fix the problem  Thanks.

Check the shifter handle itself. I had a problem with mine two years ago and the shifter handle was corroded and binding.

I will check the shift control at the helm. Some say there is an adjustment screw that should be looked at and I will check for corrosion.

Also check the throttle arm under the cowling, may be binding
