Capt. Ron/FISHERMEN Report and startup!
« on: March 26, 2012, 07:41:52 PM »
Well it's that time of year again! Play time is over (went way too fast) and it's time to get back in the groove of fishing everyday. Amazing for the month of March to hear some of the reports about the bite. Seems like several area's are producing fish both on bait and jigs.

For us we will be ready to do both. We carry the clams which normally is our mainstay in April but if you remember 2 seasons ago, the jig bite was the best in years! Just be ready for anything with the proper set ups.

Medium action rods, nothing too whippy. Don't forget there are many days we fish in some pretty good current, the rod you use should have a little back bone to handle it.
Our normal schedule starts this Saturday sailing daily 7:30 am till 2:30pm. Afternoon fishing schedule will be posted once things get going a little better.

Looking foward to fishing with everyone again, posting some good reports, pics and video this season. Too look back at some of the action from last year please visit my websight at www.captainronsfishermen.com and follow the you tube link.

Hope to see you soon!
Capt. Ron

Hopefully you pick back up where you left off t^
Have a great season
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

A good day of fishing is better than a bad day of fishing. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work. That means work sucks!
