FISHERMEN/Report for 4/2/12
« on: April 02, 2012, 06:05:48 PM »
Some change in tone from yesterdays report as we couldn't get it done for the Monday regs!!
Hard North wind and a good outgoing gave us some ugly conditions all day. Even after the mid-afternoon change of tide, the bite never turned on. Read loads of bait, saw the gannets diving, read the fish and anchored on them several times, but still NG.
Tommy Krako was the only bright spot today with 2 keepers and the pool fish. A handfull of keepers and a couple shorts to end the day.

Day two and I've already gone from Hero to zero!!!:D

slt For the honest report, cant fill the fish holds everyday. Two days in a row you put fish on deck t^ looks like a win to me.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
