Saturday 4/7
« on: April 07, 2012, 08:15:49 PM »
Boat in the slip yesterday first trip out of Barnegat Inlet this morning.  Wind was up, and it was a little cold but Johnathin my son and I stuck it out. Trolled up a few hots but no keeper, then we jigged under the massive swirling diving birds near Governors Mansion and Johnathin boxed the first keeper of the year, a 30 incher.  We had fun running up and down the beach for a few hours then headed in and we had a nice family meal of grilled striper for dinner at the Campground.  Love my son, love fishing, I am a blessed person.  I think we are out at em again in the morning
Early to bed…early to rise…fish all day…make up lies.

To fish is human,

to throw back is divine.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

The cure for everything is salt water: sweat, tears, and the sea.
