4/14 Raritan Bay Striper live report
« on: April 14, 2012, 12:09:01 PM »
Have Tom McColligan and the crew from Scranton Fire Dept. Onboard for some striper fishing today....started out trolling the stretches and had good solid action Boxing 4 to 32 inches, dropping one boatside and throwing back 3 shorts. Action was solid until the tide dropped. Trolled around some more with no luck. Tide is starti.g to move again and we set up on the chunk to see what happens.

good going
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Well, unfortunately the morning was the only action around on the outgoing tide for us....when the tide turned, they shut off...still read them ok but they wouldnt snap. Very very frustrating rgmn
