4/21/12 lake ontario report

towed the how many up to oswego for a few days of brown trout fishing.we fished saturday in the rain all day with 40 degree temps.the seas were 3-4 ft.we had 16 hits and landed 11 browns from 3 -11 3/4 lbs and 2 lakers 8-10 lbs.we got blown off today and returned early.the fish were caught from 14-50ft.the top 15 foot of water.sutton and stinger spoons and flasher fly combos caught fish.the top three browns were 8,11 1/2 and 11 3/4 lbs.if you are going to oswego area call ahead because they are working on the power plant and the workers booked up all the hotels until may 15.

Where you fishing outta the harbor east or west?

BTW, I use a campground 3 miles from the harbor and rent a cabin. Almost always available.  Nothing fancy, a roof with a bed and shower, but cheap.  Anyone need the info let me know.
