4/25 Raritan Bay
« on: April 25, 2012, 05:31:36 PM »
Ben and I put in Keyport Marina by 6:30 .Headed straight across the bay .Set up on the troll ,using strechtes .Ben put on the black back white one ,I had on the blue back yellow belly .Ben gets a nice size bass in the box right away .Bunker busting all over the place near the channel .Snagged some and let them drop .I hook up and reel him in .Humungous blue .Do it again ,snag and drop ,another big blue .Ben does it and gets another good bass .Over all fishing was on the slow side after that .The bay is full of bunker and blues .Blues are where ever you go .Fun day none the less. clp

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
