4/29 Sandy Hook Report
« on: April 29, 2012, 04:49:30 PM »
Had the Mike Pogirski Charter onboard.....left at 6:15 and since the forexast was supposed to be breezy with wind against tide, we turned the hook and ran south. Stopped on some nice bird activity and broke out the jigs...all bluefish there but the gang didnt mind so we sat for awhile until they needed a break....ran south some more and trolled the stretches for awhile with more of the same. Over 40 fish at this point...kept working the birds until the crew wanted to stop.
Still spots open Fri 5/4 a.m. open boat and Sat 5/5 a.m. open boat. Call to jump on a trip!

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
