5/5 Sandy Hook fishing report
« on: May 05, 2012, 06:34:54 PM »
And that is exactly what it  was....a fishing....not catching report.
It waa like the movie groundhog day...living yesterdays trip over again....headed oit at 05:45 in pea soup....visibility maybe 300 feet. Left early knowing the fluke opener would be a mob scene by 7 am and the heavy fog definately kept some at dock until it broke. Set up on 3 spots by 9:30...good reads but they wouldnt chew...AGAIN.
Headed west  and found some bird life....dropped the jigs and the boys had blues for a good hour...then POOF...they disappeard....boys had a good time but the bass were elusive again today....hopefully after this moon they put the feed bag back on.
