Black Sea Bass and Blackfish update
« on: May 11, 2012, 06:38:20 PM »
Did not see the information posted, so here goes. I received this information from The New Jersey Fish and Game.

"The sea bass and tautog regs were approved by the Marine Fisheries Council last night, but have not been signed by the Commissioner of DEP.  This is usually just a formality, but nothing is final until they are signed.

The seabass option selected by the Council is 25 fish at 12.5” minimum size during three seasons: May 19 – Sept 3, Sept 23 - Oct 14, and Nov 1 – Dec 31.

The tautog option selected included a July 16 – Nov 15 season of 1 fish at 15”."
