Ran a trip for a fellow charter having mechanical issues....put his crew on board and rolled out to where we had them...set up and had 2 fish on instantly...1st fish going about 23-24 lbs..2nd was about 15 or so....then 3 other rods start going off....got one out of the 3 to the boat....thinkin we gonna slam them...then as quick as they came, they were gone....
Such a slooooowwww current for the incoming tide....made a move amd had more great marks.....nada...chunked and clammed hard but only 1 more bass and a bluefish for the effort....weather was beautiful despite the forecast, but we just coukdnt put it together today.
