At the crack of dawn this morning me my dad A.K.A Wreckfish and his buddy went down near New Hope P.A. for some Cat fishing. We were drifting chunks of Chub down rapids till they fell into this deep hole. Right away my dads buddy hooked up with one. It took a lil bit to get the fish in because you reeling them up through a very strong current. The fish was about 5Lbs. Right after he pulled his fish out of the water we started getting hits and we knew it was on. My dad was next with another 5Lber. It took me a couple swings and misses to hook up with one. Theres nothing like catching a decent size catfish on a lite action pole with 4Lb test on. Mine was about the same size as the others. The bites slowed down a bit till about hour later when my dads buddy hooked into a nice fish. He got in on the shore line but while they were untangling there lines he flopped back into water. We estimated about 7 to 8Lbs. The rest of the morning was spent trying to stay warm the wind was whipping and it was pretty cold out so we called it a day and went to get some food.
