« on: August 27, 2007, 06:17:21 PM »
finally back fishing, without boat almost 2 weeks, outboard repairs, head gasket replaced.launched at Sayreville ramp at 7:30,fishing back bay by 8.stayed in area Raritan Bay light house to just past 47 buoy in the reach channel, first fish caught just off the 47 buoy in 20 feet of water,a nice 21 incher that took a squid strip and killie, then picked a 17 incher.picked a lot of birds early.was able to get a 19 3/4 incher.then fishing partner Dave got a 19 1/2 incher right in the channel and I followed right behind him with another 19 3/4 incher.had a blue fish almost yank my pole right out of my hand, nice fight on light tackle, kept it for a friend who likes blue fish.we each had our share of shorts and we did get one more 17 incher.also had a few had em's that felt good.decent drift all day,had peanut bunker but most hits on killies.headed for home at 2,good day on the water, boat ran good,Iv'e been fighting it for most of the summer.here's some pics. took pics on boat ,last 17 incher caught not in pics.

Awesome job
