and looking for flattys. Found some, but they all needed the fluke-struder (which was not in evidence.)
We caught about 25 in a couple hours. It was a 10 out of 10 bluebird morning, with incoming tide. Slow drift, we bounced around the bay to several spots that had been producing, looking for a keeper. "Here, flukey flukey," but they were elsewhere. A few we probly coulda kept, but we were in the land of 'large size' regs., so we returned them to the deep. Illogical to have 1 molecule of water 17.5", the very next adjacent molecule 19.5". I think the fish are as confused as the anglers. We put the power in powerdrift, which helped the hookups, but we prolly shoulda went outside. Short on time, what else is new?
Once again, bunker pods were everywhere. Also again, nothing under or around them that we could see or catch. I think Jim was the high hook. Or maybe it was me. Definitely not Tom. Most action in 19ft today with killies and BTs scoring the majority of bites. Water temp. was 77.5- 78.5°.
See ya out there.
