 not truly a safety tip, but could come down to getting you in some big trouble.

 carry an extra bottle of 2smoke oil with you if your a 2smoker outboard guy. some capt was calling out at the ap needing some oil, was very low. he finally got some, but it took awhile.

 can you imagine that one, running back, weather turns to crap, and you run out of oil,,, dead in the water.
