Left Beach Haven West 5:30am with my hunting buddy Charlie ( 80yr old one eyed Sicilian Guy
) and headed to the BI Reef. One of the first boats out there, beautiful morning. During the slow drift we caught one skate and one sea-robin.
After a while we got bored and left the reef and headed north, maybe half mile off the beach where the birds were hammering the spearing. We were casting deadly dicks and pulling in blue after blue. Mostly 1-2 pounders. Lots of fun on light tackle. Filled up the boat with 30 blues for shark chum and bait for this weeks trip.
