TnT SHBA Fluke tourney .... 7-14 / 7-15

TnT .. Sandy Hook Bay Anglers Fluke Tourney day one 7- 14-12

shoved off early with my Bow Monkey Mike and Motorhead Anthony...plan was to run to an area where i had caught a 9 and 10 lber on back to back days 2 weeks ago..... we pounded the area HARD for 2 hours with only 1 keeper to show for it..... made a shift to the north and finally found a sweet pocket of fish.... fished it hard till conditions killed it..... finished the day with close to 30 keepers being caught ONLY KEEPING OUR 3 MAN LIMIT.... biggest went 5.5 lbs...not enough so we washed up and hoped for the best on day 2

TnT .. Sandy Hook Bay Anglers Fluke Tourney day two 7- 15-12

same crew for day 2.... this time stayed north for the most part... again bounced around in 2 big fish areas with little to NO drift.... conditions couldnt have beed worse.... took a chance and made a big move which paid off..... well paid off fish wise.... bailed fish all alone for a change (no tag alongs) ..... some of the craziest/solid fluking i have seen in a long time.... My Bow Monkey dropped what possibly was an 10/11 lb + fish 2 cranks from the net..... he fought that fish hard and did nothing wrong, the thing just shook the bucktail free during its last violent attempt to free its self... crap happens.... finished the day with over 40+ keeprs come on board, again keeping only our 3 man limit... biggest went 7.6 i believe, with 9 other fish OVER 5 LBS.... BACK AT IT NEXT WEEKEND FOR THE BIG ONE OUT OF PT. P
