OC surf areas

Hello everyone. This is my first post as a newbie. Just looking for some ideas on where to surf fish in Ocean City and what to fish for. Also, any insight on when the fall striper run might start?

Welcome Aboard cowfish,

I don't get to fish down there too much so I will let the guys that do answer your queries.  If I see that your questions have not been answered I will ask around for you.

I fish mainly IBSP area and around this time of year anything goes.  Just about everything good to eat is running off the surf.  We are hoping the striper's come in closer to the beach this fall.

Your best bet for them would be at night, dusk or dawn.  Using poppers of black or yellow.  zDon't forget to try the other usuals metal spoons or diamong jigs or AV27 - 47's.
