Ugh, bad news.....

Well, saw the doc today.  Was supposed to be the day to get out of this brace and start rehab next week.  Well I had to be honest with him and told him that when I am not in the brace I start to feel tension and my head starts to feel like a bowling ball after a while if I'm not on meds.  He did some range of motion and strength tests and feels that I need 3 more weeks of rest before I can begin rehab/PT.  He doesn't think the muscles are strong and recovered enough to really handle being pushed and pulled and stressed yet.  Of course this means that the idea of me fishing in 3 weeks got pushed back even further.   rgmn rgmn

Still good for October 4th tuna trip according to him.   5hrug

Trust me I know how much it  sucks ::) , but you only have 1 spine, its better to wait 3 more weeks then to screw things up.

Listen to the Doc, don't over do it. In time, you will be able to get back into action.  t^

My head has felt like a bowling ball for last 40 years...never knew that was a bad thing?!... ;D
