Tuna Tales Wednesday 08-08 Good Fluke Fishing
« on: August 08, 2012, 08:23:54 PM »
Fished with my father, my nephew Eddie, Jim, Jeff's son Matt. Left SRI at 7:00 am and for the first two hours we had zero keepers...with only a few throwbacks. No drift at all - zero wind.

Ran off a ways to deeper water and got a decent pick going and ended up working that spot for 19 keepers to 24 1/2" (6 lbs) that my father caught! Nice fluke Dad!

Some nice 19 to 23" fluke in the mix...along with a lot of shorts.

The guys fished hard all day...great time all around with some good eats.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
