Got out late from the hyland. secound trip this week. Was out on Thursday. had a rough go of it. Today was better. After a relaxing night with my lady, Had no expectations other then a nice relaxing day out on the water. First fish on the shoal, 18 1/2. 1 fish, 1 keeper. This has never been good luck for me. Usually means the rest of the day is going to be slow. Headed out to about 50' of water and caught about 40 sea robins.. Decided to cut one up and put half of it on the bottom to see what it did. Don't know what took it, but it cut right through my 65# leader after about 20 sec. Rest of the day was steady. Only put 2 in the box. But couldn't think of a better way to spend the day.
