8/17 Sandy Hook Fluke Report

Had an a.m. fluke trip today with Dr. Mark Barrone and family. Stayed local today and glad we did. Left dock at 7:30 and Caught the end of the flood tide and beginning of  the ebb....nice long drifts and plenty of action boxing 15 keepers...one at 5 lbs, 2 @ 4 lbs and the rest just making the mark...had to have thrown back atleast 40 fish today. The gang called it a day at 11 a.m. They did a nice job as 3 of the crew had never  fished for fluke before.
