Roosters Flikin 8-23
« on: August 23, 2012, 07:00:39 PM »
Tom and I left our slip at Atlantic Highlands Marina about 7 AM this morning heading for the single candlestick, got there as the tide started in. The bay was flat with very little wind as the tide carried us across the Knoll, then beyond Chapel Hill Channel picking Fluke along the way using only two-ounce sinkers. The mud flats at the channel provided me with two keeper Fluke @ 17½" on Killies. The Sea Robins were plentiful providing us with strip bait. No Bluefish around and a hint of Weakfish along with many schools of Bunker. Headed back in at noon.  Pete
