Made the trip out early to try and beat the weather before it got to bad.
Loaded up with peanuts, SeaChelle and I ventured out the inlet so some sporty sea's, but still fishable.
I wanted to stay close to the beach and inlet for the high chance of showers that was called for.
Tried a few spots between the inlet and coast guard station for a searobbing and SeaChelles first weakfish, although it was only 7". I haven't seen one in about ten years.
Decided to try and drift around inside for abit. Did quit a few passes through the inlet, mayers hole and double creek to nothing. I will admit not the best timing for inside action as it was pretty much near deadlow tide, but gave it a shot anyways.
Even being a throw back, I think the weekfish saved the day. I've been hearing of them making a comeback this year, and do hope they continue.
