Fished with Capt. Joe Today
« on: August 25, 2012, 06:47:04 PM »
Got out on the Irish Ayes today for our trip I won at the NJSWF Dinner. Myself Luna Sea and my daughter Melissa. Capt. Joe is a class act,not the greatest conditions today a bit snotty out there. Moved around shorts and more shorts, managed a few keepers. Had a great time, Joe's friend  Bob was on top of everything, needed Bait he was right there behind you bait in hand, fish on he was there. Really enjoyed the company and time out on the water.
Want to give credit to my daughter who was a real trooper even though she was sea sick in between throwing up hung in there and fished the whole time not complaining.
Thanks again Joe and Bob great hosts we will do it again soon.

It was a pleasure having Uncle Luna, Melissa and Luna Sea with us today.

We made the best of the conditions that we could. Went north out of Shark River and didn't stop until we got to the rocks. From there we moved all over creation to find fish. Hit many usual producing spots but just couldn't score. Would have loved to see more keepers come aboard, but it is what it is.

It made our day when Melissa brought in her keeper. As bad as she felt she hung in there the whole trip. Never seen someone give back breakfast and then pick up a rod as quickly as she did and continue to fish. I personally would have thrown in the towel.  thud
She was a trooper.  slt

We will do this again and have better results.  chrz

Can't forget my man Bob G. He's as good as, if not better than, most party boat mates. Always there when he's needed, today he reminded me of Radar on M.A.S H.   TT^

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
