Went down to Blacky's today on my way back from LBI...  I used to go there when I was a kid, and they are still there... I asked how long have they been in business.. they said almost 40 years...

its on the OLD Rte. 72.  If you where the Mud City crab house it, its about 1/4 west.

Thanks Nick.  I've been there before, didn't know the name was Blacky's.  They have always had the best prices around.

Yep, Blacky's, it a very old 40 year old shack, but the prices are great.  The only problem is, they close when they run out, so there hours are always iffy... My best suggestion is get them on a Friday before the weekend shore crowd.

Ahh, Blacky's!  Always make a stop there.  Nothing better when you get home from the beach (or a day on the boat) than some clams on the half shell.  Bay Ave., right near Mud City, Hance and Smythe, the old flea market.
