FISHERMEN/Beautifull day on the water. Wednesdays Report
« on: August 29, 2012, 04:34:33 PM »
Nice cool breeze in the AM, unfortunatly with the outgoing the drift got way too fast to fish the channels. Bounced around picking at some fish till the ocean layed down offshore.

Finally found a nice area of fish and worked it hard for the rest of the day. Big Jim landed yet another Pool fish for the Wednesday team with a very nice 6 1/4 pounder. Rich M. slugged away at the shorts and Sea bass (not sure if he got a keeper) but still had plenty of action.
Milton's first trip since last season had him on fire in the afternoon, not catching a thing in the AM he hung in there fishing the way he always fishes, when it was over he had 4 nice keepers and some Sea Bass in the cooler.
Couple first time youngsters on the boat had a blast catching the shorts, Sea robbins, a couple keeper Fluke and Sea Bass.

Pretty cool seeing a 3 foot baby Hammerhead swiming around the boat.

Back at it tomorrow....

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
