Compact Fishing Rod
« on: September 07, 2012, 11:44:32 AM »
Does anyone have a small compact fishing rod or know of a good one? While at school I have some time between classes and there's a pond on campus. I see hundreds of bluegills all over the shoreline and I'm sure there's some bigger fish on there too. I'm just looking for a small rod that would fit in my bookbag with all of my books still in it. I don't feel like carrying a regular rod with me to all of my classes.

I think theres one called the pocket fisherman.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

NOOO!!!! I ordered a bunch I these as small gag gifts to give to people who came to my wedding ( we got married in jamaica) to play around catching cichlids in the rivers and small jacks and cudas on the beach. Yeh well they are the biggest pieces of crap ever made.

If funds allow it, get yourself a 4 or 5 piece travel rod and reel to match. They usually come with a hard carrying case. No one would even know its a rod, some may even think you were an art student carrying your sketches ( I'd rather go to class in my waders than have people think that though).

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
