Had the pleasure to get out today shrugging off the heavy swell mantra. Mullet made a brief appearance at the marina and we managed to get a net near and put a few in the livewell. AHM is loaded with Pnutz and a toss by the Dunkin Donut man filled 'er to the brim. Motored off to the scratchy areas drifting with a couple sniffs here and there. Had to work to get a pick going. Capt Crazy was the bait dragger today while Don jr and I worked the bucktails. Swell were nominal and long periods kept conditions in check. Weather was real decent.
We managed only three keeps today with about 35 shorts to toss back. Shame of it was that the CB bite was on and we left them to try and find the keeper fluke.
Here's one that really hurt throwing back! Inhaled one of the those mullets and wasn't giving it back up
Good day on the water with some excellent guys~!
