2 days in a row I didn't have to clean the fish box  but after filleting a Sea Robin for bait I noticed his stomach was a little stuffed so I just had to open him up only to find a new piece of Gulp

Wonder if that would of killed the robin in time. as well as any fish that ingests plastic baits. As many guys used whole corn as chum for winter Flounder as well as Carp and it was found to not digest and it killed the Flounder as well as other fish. Silver Queen included. But I can say with no Reservation that Robin is Dead.

I do believe the fish would have been ok. Gulp is water based and biodegradable he may of have a stomach ache but i think he woulda lived

Dr.Al after many hours of research I found that Gulp and power bait are products of Berkley. And as  Stated  by them Gulp is water based Resins nothing about Bio Degradable or if it would degrade over time.
Power Bait on the other hand is made of oil based Resins And ( PVCs ) OMG.

The main difference is that Gulp holds and releases the sent better and Power Bait traps the scent behind the oil barrier. Both are considered Plastics in there own right.

So my prognoses is The Sea Robin would of met its Demise   before it degraded.  

So in this Case The power bait once removed The Sea Robin after being sutured up and revised it may have survived.

One man's trash fish another man's treasure.  I found a whole 6" curly tail grub in a knucklehead's stomach that went right into my gulp bucket after a quick rinse

  way to go bill. All non gulp soft baits no matter what brand are oil/ pvc. If you want to see a gulp disintegrate leave one on your deck or let your dog eat a bag of them. Yup the bull dog ate a whole new bag of 4" pink swimming mullets, and lets just say we never saw them again.
