IBSP 9-2-07
« on: September 05, 2007, 04:12:47 PM »
sorry for the late report. Went to the shore today with my family and my dads friend. The fishing was horrible at first..I had a flounder and as soon as I got it out of the wash it popped off..I was bummed. Sat the rest of the day waiting and finally a school of herring woke us up crashing through the surf. Following them were big blues..tied on a popper and went to town..ended up getting 3 of these guys pictured below.

Nice catch!  Now is the time that the bluefishing on the surf will start up and it will only get better.

Excellent job Chris, TT^ TT^ TT^

Way to go with a conventional surf reel too boot.  Not many guys use them today and it is a shame.  A rig like that in the right hands will out cast any spinning reel.  Good Job.  And Thanks for the report.

Happy Catching
