fishing bibs
« on: September 22, 2012, 09:16:32 AM »
There are many different names, quality, material and $$$ out there for fishing bibs. I am looking for a pair and don't want to spend bookoo bucks. I probally deep sea fish 4-5 times/year and the rest on land. $75-$125 range maybe $150 any suggestions? 5hrug --biker

ever travelto cabela's?  If so check out there bargain cave.  I got a set of bibs for about 40 bucks.  They were normally 135 or somewhere around there.  they place items that have "defaults" with them.  usually its written on the tag...mine where 'soiled'.  My thoughts are i just going to get them dirty anyway.  I have gotten jackets, boots, etc. over there over the years.  its a no brainer for me.  just a cautionary statement...all sales are final so no returns.  but for the prices they are selling some stuff at i'm willing to take the chance.
It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

Grab yourself a pair of Grundens at any local shop for around $90.

At 4-5 trips per year, they last you the rest of your life.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

For hard fishing, you cannot beat the classic grundens herkules, especially if the weather is chilly...
