Same spot and same tide as last night. Couldn't draw a strike on the bomber that's been working for me so I went total finess style with a weightless fin-s on a 2/0 gama under the dock lights. First fish on right away after the switch turned out to be the bass I was looking for last night to complete my trifecta. Next fish hit like a Mac truck but fought like a little girl. Up comes a 20" fluke. Couple more small bass and on "my last cast" I hook up with something a little more solid. Another nice weakfish surprise that pushed the tape to 26"....and fat as could be. Now I get all excited again thinking I can get my grand slam (bass, weak, fluke, blue) and switch gears to look for a bluefish. Well the little jerks took the night off cause I couldnt find one. Nice night to be out and still a ton of bait in the back that aren't in any hurry to head south. I have pics but the weakfish came out blurry as I was in a real hurry to get her back in the water after a long fight on light gear. Everyone still swimming to grow up and visit me next year.
