Evening trip last night to a spot that had produced well for us a few weeks ago. Other spots we've been trying lately haven't been very productive.
SW wind @10mph, top of the outgoing tide and started about an hour after dark. All clams on hi-lo rigs, no plugging tonight.
In a little over 2 hours we had 2 dink bass around 12in. Saw someone else get one on a teaser.
At least we didn't get the skunko. But much slower then it's been.
Crabs are still very much present and feeding
About an hour in, no action, no signs of life....Becky asks "where are the fish?" Not 10 seconds later I hookup with the first fish.
It's like they were saying "here we are!"
