Pilot - Stripers and Politics perfect together! 10-27-2012

Got a half day in before the trouble begins!  Back in the rack to ride this one out.   T-Bone, T-Bone's son Nick and his cousin Nickshaw joined in for the clam bake.  We were outside with a bushel to bat around.  Had the area to ourselves.  Probably for a good reason.  We banged the snot out of those spikey, prehistoric bait stealing bastards again.  Seems like they put on a few pounds since last week.  Managed to sneak one stiped one out of there.  It took off with a head steam like a blue fish and even did a little tailwalking.  Guess those Gami's hurt like hell     Pulled the plug here and went back toward the mouth of the bay with about an hour left of good tide.   Lionel Ritches showed their ugly mugs.   Just wehn you begin to lose faith in the day, the rap your looking for rattles your soul.  Jumped all over Tikki like a sumo grappling to stay in the ring.  Reel tight and bang....  the only other strip for the day.   2 for 2 wish it was a whole lot more but those are the breaks.   

Headed back to the barn at noon only to finish my day off with what I hope is the outcome next month!!!  GET OUT THE VOTE!

Jeff I am glad to hear you fished today and had some bass.Looks like we'll be watching this "Sandy Bit$&" for a few days. I hope the fish stick around and don't head South.

Maybe this storm will bring the fish in.  Usually with storms like this, you get a ton of broken, cracked clams that wash up on the beach.  This means feeding frenzy for the beach guys and free bait.
