10/26 Report....today was not our day

Left Highlands at 0700 with DJ76 and crew onboard....rounded the hook and went south....way south....got set up with some of our friends from the belmar fleet...nice to see them again.....dropped jigs on nice marks but no takers....waited it out to see of it happened...but impatience got the best of me....headed way east to try for some action with the demons atleast....had fish boiling here and there but only managed 1 freakin demon for the effort. Headed back north where we had good marks yesterday....marks werent as good but there was some life....jigged trolled
and eeled with only a couple more blues to show for it. Ran north to drift eels but the tide wasnt running hard enough for me. Called it a day after running 58 miles to find the bite that didnt go off today.
Hauling out tomorrow for this damn storm. Good luck everyone!

Well it wasnt for a lack of effort.  All you can do is try.

At least you can try again tomorrow for a better 10/27 report  ;D

yep, carl pulled out all the stops for us today but it simply wasn't meant to be.  it wasn't due to lack of effort!    A++ for the effort there captain clp

Frustrating day for me too. I'm hauling the boat and watching people fillet bass on the dock,coolers,car hood, truck beds.  There was NO room to move or work the boat to the ramp. Boats all over the place and ramp people in each others way.It was crazy.Where did these people come from?????????????????????????????
