Sandy Hook, Fisherman's Beach 9/16

Fished fisherman's beach from 6:30 to 9:00am. No luck, used metal, plugs and spro w/gulp mullets. Did not see anyone pull anything in. Will try again next weekend. Did see a small school of nutz in the wash, but nothing chasing them.

Yeah, the fluke are still around.  Been catching them while seabass fishing.  Anchored up and using clam none the less.  And they all have to be released.  Freakin idjits that make the regs are useless.  A waste of skin if you ask me.

yeah well, if im seabass fishing and i catch myself a 9-10 pound fluke, i'll pay the 85 dollar fine for the fish or i'll sneak it  :o
